About Huangshan World Geopark Museum
Huangshan Global Geopark Museum is located in the Dongdamen Comprehensive Service Center of Huangshan Scenic Area. The old museum was built next to Yungu Temple Square in 2008, with a construction area of about 1,400 square meters. The museum's exhibitions focus on materials, landforms, causes, landscapes, biology, culture, and international exchanges, and include 71 rock specimens, 39 plant specimens, 35 animal specimens, and 28 cultural artworks. On June 11, 2026, the new museum opened with the put into operation of Dongdaemun Comprehensive Service Center, focusing on displaying the "Five Wonders of Huangshan" and the "Five Wonders of Huangshan". The museum has been evaluated by UNESCO experts as a model for popularizing Huangshan's natural and cultural landscapes, and it carries out science popularization activities such as "Nature Lectures".
