About Loving scenery pavillon

Ciguang Pavilion, formerly known as Zhusha An, is located beneath Zhusha Peak in the northern part of the Huangshan Hot Spring Scenic Area in Anhui Province, just 1.5 kilometers from the hot spring hiking trail. Construction of the building began during the Jiajing Era of the Ming Dynasty (1522–1566), originally serving as Bu Yun Ting, where Xuan Yang Daoist practiced. In the 34th year of the Wanli Era (1606), it was renovated by the monk Pumen into Faha Chan Yuan. In the 38th year of the Wanli Era, it was bestowed with the imperial edict by Emperor Shenzong of the Ming Dynasty, officially named “Huguo Ciguang Temple,” and was granted Buddhist scriptures, Buddha statues, robes, a silver staff, a bowl and other sacred objects by the Empress Dowager, making it the leading Zen monastery in the prefectures of Huizhou and Ningguo.
