About Wang Yangming's former residence

Wang Yangming's Former Residence (Wang Shouren's Former Residence) is located on the west side of Wushengmen Road, Yangming Street, Yuyao City, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, facing Longquan Mountain in the south. It is the former residence of Wang Yangming, a philosopher from the Ming Dynasty in China. Wang Yangming's former residence faces south and is large in scale, covering an area of more than 4,600 square meters. Along the central axis from south to north, the former residence building consists of the entrance hall, the sedan hall, the brick gatehouse, the hall, the Ruiyun Tower, and the rear hood, with side rooms on the east and west sides. The brick-carved gatehouse is an imitation wood structure building with four pillars and three bays, and the pillars are made of stone. Pass through the gatehouse and cross the patio to the hall. The hall is a three-bay high bungalow.
