About Ninghai Shili Hongzhuang Museum
Ninghai County Shili Red Makeup Museum is located at No. 1 Xu Xiake Avenue, Yuelong Street, Ninghai County, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. It covers an area of 78 acres and has a construction area of 11,800 square meters. It is a social science folk custom museum. In February 2002, a special exhibition "Ten Miles of Red Makeup" was held in Dajiahe Town, Ninghai County. In October 2002, the Ninghai County Government decided to establish the Ninghai County Shili Red Makeup Museum. In September 2003, Ninghai County Shili Red Makeup Museum was established. In May 2004, Ninghai County Shili Red Makeup Museum was officially opened to the public. In 2008, the Ninghai County Government initiated a project to build a new Shili Red Makeup Museum. In 2018, the new Shili Red Makeup Museum in Ninghai County, Zhejiang Province was completed.
