About Dalian Lushun Submarine Museum

Dalian Lushun Submarine Museum is China's first professional museum with the theme of submarine culture. It is located on the north side of Huangjinshan Bathing Beach in Lushunkou District, Dalian City. The museum was established in 2007 as a private, non-enterprise unit. The core exhibit is the Type 033 domestic retired submarine "Lushunkou". The boat is 76.6 meters long and has a water displacement of 1,330 tons. It has performed combat readiness patrols and other tasks. The museum area consists of the Submarine Physical Exhibition Hall, the World Submarine Culture Exhibition Hall, the Submarine Life Experience Hall, the Submarine Simulation Cruise Experience Hall, the Electric Rock Fortress and the Golden Mountain Beach. The exhibition hall and collaboration area cover an area of approximately 60,000 square meters.
