About Museum of Lvshun Prison

The Lushun Japanese-Russian Prison Site Museum is located at No. 139, Xiangyang Street, Lushunkou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, China. The museum is divided into two parts: the old site exhibition and the special section. The old site scene display is organized into 19 areas including the panoramic sand table, examination room, east cell, Ahn Jung-geun cell, secret cell, guard lounge, guard department, torture room, guard stand, relic exhibition, teaching room, west cell, west examination room, No. 1 workshop, triangle area, north gate, medical department, hanging ground, and cemetery restoration area. The original prison was built by Tsarist Russia in 1902 and expanded by Japan in 1907.
