About Qiantang River Bridge Exhibition Hall

The Qiantang River Bridge Exhibition Hall is located at the foot of Yuelun Mountain on the north bank of the bridge in the Liuhe Pagoda Scenic Area in Hangzhou. It was completed and opened in December 1999. The exhibition hall systematically presents the construction process of my country's first self-designed road-rail dual-use bridge through six major exhibition areas including "Bridge Construction Overture" and "Brave Overcoming Difficulties". The museum collects more than 400 physical objects such as bridge construction manuscripts and drawings and more than 200 historical photos, focusing on the patriotic deeds of builders such as Mao Yisheng and Luo Ying who "served the country with knowledge and defended the country with passion." The museum has been listed as a national spiritual education base for scientists and a demonstration base for education of China Railway Party members.
