About Lushun Gramophone Museum
Lushun Gramophone Museum is located in Lushunkou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province. Founded in 2011, it is the first gramophone-themed museum in mainland China so far. The museum has a collection of more than 20,000 phonographs and supporting records. On January 1, 2026, the new museum was officially opened at the former site of Lushun Industrial School. The opening ceremony had the theme of "Traveling through a century-old Lushun and listening to the voice of history." The new museum has 12 exhibition halls and 3 themed chapters. The collections in the museum cover different types of phonographs such as cylinder, desktop, and floor-standing. Visitors can watch them up close and participate in interactive experiences.
