About Chinese Kimchi Museum
The Chinese Kimchi Museum is located at No. 1, Shunjiang Avenue, Chongli Town, Dongpo District, Meishan City, Sichuan Province. It is the first professional museum with the theme of kimchi in China and the only museum in the country that focuses on kimchi culture. The museum was officially opened on July 16, 2012. The building has a construction area of 4,500 square meters, including an exhibition hall area of 3,900 square meters. It is composed of exhibition areas such as history and culture, production and processing, inheritance and innovation, products and brands, tasting and experience, quality and safety, and looking forward to the future. The overall design structure of the museum building is two floors, one ground floor and one underground garage. It has a collection of about 350 items.
