About Shixiang Lake Ecological Scenic Area
Shixiang Lake Ecological Scenic Area is located in Pujiang County, Chengdu City, 86 kilometers away from the Chengdu-Ya Expressway. It is named after the Shixiang Temple, an ancient temple in the lake area. In 2015, the forest coverage rate of the scenic spot reached more than 90%. It only takes 40 minutes to drive along the Chengdu-Ya Expressway to Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport and downtown Chengdu. It is about 8 kilometers away from Changtan Lake. The lake area has a large area of masson pine forest and a lake with "nine ditches and eighteen forks", which is known as the "water maze". Shixiang Lake Ecological Scenic Area is also the development center of the 10,000-acre ecological park.
