About Qing'an Guild Hall
Qing'an Guild Hall, also known as Tianhou Palace, is located on the east bank of Sanjiangkou in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, hence the name "Ningdong Tianhou Palace". Completed in the third year of Xianfeng reign of the Qing Dynasty (1853), it is not only a palace to worship the Queen of Heaven, Mazu, but also a place for industry gatherings. It is one of the eight largest Queen of Heaven palaces and seven grand halls in China, and is China's first maritime folk museum. The Qing'an Guild Hall building complex faces east to west and covers an area of about 3,900 square meters. On the original central axis, there are a screen wall, a water-receiving pavilion, a palace gate, a front hall (with a stage), a main hall (with a stage), an apse, left and right wing rooms, side rooms, etc. The main hall is the main building of the Qing'an Guild Hall, with a width of five bays.
