About Dalian Museum 1

Dalian Museum, formerly known as Dalian Modern Museum, is located at No. 10 Huizhan Road, Shahekou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province. It covers an area of 21,600 square meters, a construction area of 30,400 square meters, an exhibition area of 19,000 square meters, and a temporary exhibition area of nearly 4,000 square meters. It is a local comprehensive museum. In March 2002, the Dalian Museum opened to the public. As of the end of 2022, the number of collections in the Dalian Museum reached 32,984 pieces (sets), including 150 precious cultural relics/set. Dalian Museum is the "National Science Popularization Education Base", "Liaoning Province Patriotism Education Base", "Dalian City Party Members Ideological Education Base" and "Dalian City Civil Servants Professional Ethics Education Practice Base".
