About Liaoning Provincial Museum

Liaoning Provincial Museum is one of the famous historical and artistic museums in my country. Located at No. 157, Zhizhi 3rd Street, Hunnan District, Shenyang City. The museum building was originally the official residence of Tang Yulin, the leader of the Fengcian warlord Rehe. After the "9·18" incident, the puppet Manchukuo government established the "National Museum Fengtian Branch" here. The Liaoning Museum is the Northeast Museum that opened on July 7, 1949. It is the first museum established in New China. The new museum started construction in August 2011, and the civil construction was completed in June 2013. The first phase of the trial opening was in May 2015. After three years of careful preparation, it was fully opened on August 17, 2018. It is famous at home and abroad for its rich collection and distinctive features.
