About Industrial Museum of China
The China Industrial Museum is located at No. 14, Weigong North Street, Tiexi District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. It was renovated and expanded from the original foundry museum (the former site of Shenyang Foundry). It covers an area of 80,000 square meters and a building area of 60,000 square meters. It comprehensively reproduces the history of China's industrial development and the achievements of the revitalization of old industrial bases. It is a comprehensive industrial museum jointly built by provincial, municipal and district governments. The China Industrial Museum laid the foundation stone and started construction on May 18, 2011. The overall building adopts a construction method that combines new and old buildings. The entire museum was officially opened to the public on September 1, 2013.
