About Lu You memorial hall
Lu You Memorial Hall is located at No. 98 Haier Lane, Gongshu District (formerly Xiacheng District), Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It was established in 2005 to commemorate the 880th anniversary of the birth of Lu You, a poet of the Southern Song Dynasty. The museum was rebuilt based on an ancient house from the Qing Dynasty, retaining the traditional architectural style of blue tiles, white walls and red wood. Although it is not Lu You's former residence, it was selected because Lu You once wrote the poem "The First Spring Rain in Lin'an" here and the building is closest to the original historical appearance.
