About Dalian Art Museum
Dalian Art Museum is located at No. 35 Shengli Street, Xigang District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, adjacent to Russian Style Street. Its building was built in 1902 and designed by Polish architect Skrimovski. It is a European-style building with the style of Central and Eastern European residential buildings. The building was listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit in 2001. Dalian Art Museum is the only prefecture-level art museum in Dalian. It is a professional platform for hosting art exhibitions, collecting art works, conducting academic research, and conducting external exchanges and public education. The building was historically used by the Tsarist Russian Eastern Railway and Steamship Company.
