About Foshan Amusement Park Recreation Center
Foshan Amusement Park was founded in 1984 by the Foshan Municipal Government and Hong Kong businessmen. It is an early representative of Sino-foreign joint venture amusement parks in Guangdong Province. The park initially covers an area of 60,000 square meters and is equipped with more than ten facilities such as a Ferris wheel and bumper cars, as well as colorful musical fountains, Golden Horse Theater and other supporting facilities to form a comprehensive entertainment complex. After being closed in 2019, it will be upgraded and reopened in October 2022, retaining classic sights such as the Ferris wheel and J-5 fighter jets, and adding unpowered amusement areas and AI interactive facilities. The park adopts a free admission + project fee model, has more than 20 age-appropriate recreational facilities, and receives 300,000 tourists annually.
