About Southern Silk Capital Museum
The Nanguo Silk City Silk Museum is located on Guanlu Road (at the traffic light of Huagui Garden), Daliang New Town, Shunde District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province. It covers an area of 10,420 square meters. It is a private comprehensive museum specializing in the silk industry. On September 19, 2007, the Silk Museum of Nanguo Silk City was officially opened to the public. The Silk Museum of the Southern Silk City has rich ecological characteristics of the Lingnan water town and rich cultural connotation and humanistic spirit of the silk industry. The museum houses the Shunde Silk Culture and History Museum, Silk Culture Museum, Textile Crafts Museum, etc. As of the end of 2019, the Southern Silk City Silk Museum has a total of 570 pieces/sets of cultural relics in its collection.
