About Sunflower Garden

Million Sunflower Garden is China's first AAAA-level super-large garden park with a sunflower theme. It was completed and opened in April 2002 in Wanqingsha Town, Nansha District, Guangzhou City. It covers an area of 260,000 square meters and is planted with one million ornamental sunflowers introduced from Japan. The park has special attractions such as the Garden of Eden of Xun's Love, the Colorful Flower Field, and the Tiandi Squirrel Valley. Among them, the Tiandi Squirrel Valley breeds 1,000 squirrels and is equipped with a remote-controlled feeding system. The colorful flower field has a butterfly-shaped viewing platform and a 100-meter promenade. Supporting attractions include White Pigeon Square, Ant Kingdom, Animation Theme Area and Dutch Windmill Island, and the rose garden introduces European rose varieties. It will be closed on August 27, 2024 due to facility upgrades.
