Qianmei Ancient Village Overseas Chinese Cultural Tourism Area is located in Qianmei Village, Longdu Town, Chenghai District, Shantou City, Guangdong Province. It was founded in the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty and has a history of 660 years. The scenic area is themed on the traditional overseas Chinese culture of Chaoshan. The core building complex includes a combination of Chinese and Western buildings such as Yongning Village and Chen Cihong’s Former Residence. Among them, Chen Cihong’s Former Residence covers an area of 25,400 square meters and contains 506 rooms. The building combines Chaoshan “horse trailer” architecture and European Baroque style decoration, and is known as “the first overseas Chinese residence in Lingnan”. This scenic spot is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.
