About Bamboo-lined path at yunqi
Yunqi Bamboo Trail is located in Yunqiwu at the southern foot of Wuyun Mountain in Xihu District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is one of the "Ten Scenic Spots of the New West Lake" and belongs to the southwest of the West Lake Scenic Area. The scenic area is centered on the bamboo path landscape, with shades of green bamboo and gurgling streams. There are existing historical relics such as Xixin Pavilion, Royal Road, and Yunqi Temple ruins. The "Yunqi Bamboo Path" stele pavilion inscribed by Chen Yun and the thousand-year-old maple tree are preserved. The Yunqi Bamboo Trail began with the Yunqi Temple founded in the fifth year of Qiande (967) in the Wuyue Kingdom. Master Lianchi in the Ming Dynasty rebuilt the temple and revived Buddhism.
