About Longpan Slope
Longpan Slope is a viewing platform in the Yuping Scenic Area of Huangshan Scenic Area, Huangshan City, Anhui Province. It is located on the mountain road from Ciguang Pavilion to Banshan Temple or Banshan Temple to Tianmenkan. Standing on the platform, you can see Lotus Peak and Lotus Peak on the left. Looking from in front of the Banshan Temple, there is a stone on the Tiandu Peak that looks like a "golden rooster calling Tiandu". But looking back from the Longpan slope, the stone also looks like five old people, so it is known as the "Five Elders Go to Tiandu". There are also strange stone landscapes such as "Mirror Stone", "Sisters Herding Sheep" and "Hengyun Stone" nearby. Historically, the "Longpanpo Nunnery" was built here during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The attraction is open to visitors throughout the year.
