About Cloud Covered Bridge
The Cloud Covered Bridge is located in Longgang Scenic Area, Yunyang County, Chongqing City, the People's Republic of China. It is designed and constructed by China Machinery and Zoomlion Engineering Co., Ltd., with universities such as Tsinghua University, Chongqing University, and Southwest Jiaotong University participating in the design and construction. The covered bridge is built on a cliff 1,010 meters above sea level, with a cantilever length of 26.68 meters. The covered bridge is 718 meters above the ground. The trail is about 3.4 meters wide and 50 meters long. It protrudes out of the cliff in the shape of a "flower in the sky". This covered bridge is a cantilevered glass covered bridge, and its cantilever length is longer than the glass covered bridge in the Grand Canyon of the United States.
