Baidi City – Qutang Gorge Scenic Area is located on Mount Baidi, on the northern bank of the Yangtze River at the mouth of Qutang Gorge in Fengjie County, Chongqing. Situated at the western entrance to the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, it overlooks Kui Gate to the east, faces Ba Yan Mountain across the river to the south, borders Fengjie County Town to the west, and leans against Jigong Mountain to the north—just over 10 kilometers east of Fengjie County Town. The total area of Baidi City – Qutang Gorge Scenic Area is 4.7 square kilometers, primarily composed of two major scenic areas: Baidi City and Qutang Gorge. With numerous historic sites and cultural landmarks, it seamlessly blends nature with culture, poetry with war, and serves as a starting point for experiencing the magnificent beauty of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River.
