About Pan Tianshou Art Center
Pan Tianshou Art Center is located on the bank of Tianming Lake in Ninghai County, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. It was designed by Pan Tianshou's son Pan Gongkai. The overall building is in the shape of a "lotus", with a total land area of about 40 acres and a construction area of 31,000 square meters. The center consists of Pan Tianshou Art Museum, Pan Gongkai Art Museum and the County Children's Library, which integrates art collection, exhibition display, exchange research, education and training, cultural tourism promotion and city image promotion functions. As a key cultural project in Ninghai County's "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" development outline and a core project in building a culturally strong county, the main building of the center started construction on August 24, 2006. It will be officially opened on December 28, 2024.
