About Victory Tower

Victory Tower is located on Stalin Road, Lushunkou District, a suburb of Dalian City. It covers an area of 15,000 square meters and is open from 9:00-18:00. The Victory Tower was built before the Soviet army evacuated from Lushun to commemorate the Soviet army's victory over Japanese imperialism. Construction started in late March 1955 and was completed on September 3 of the same year. The tower is 45 meters high. It is made of polished granite and has a pentagonal base with two steps on each side. Five hexagonal columns are erected on the second step. Ten octagonal columns constitute the base column of the tower. The base column and the bottom of the tower body form the tower corridor, with a pentagonal tower body in the center. There are 180 steps inside the tower, which can be climbed to the two-story platform. The upper part of the tower is a 15-meter-high copper gilded spire.
