About Hongyanling Scenic Area
Hongyanling Scenic Area is located in Chakou Township, Pingding County, Yangquan City, Shanxi Province, China, in the hinterland of the Qiulin Mountains. It is the junction of Pingding and Yu County in Shanxi and Jingxing County in Hebei. It is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. The scenic area has beautiful peaks, green pines and cypresses, and is beautiful in all seasons. In spring, the fragrance of flowers everywhere is refreshing; in summer, there are 30,000 acres of vast forest and the sound of waves is endless; in autumn, the mountains are covered with colorful red leaves; in winter, it is covered with white snow. In addition to the beautiful red leaves, there is also the Yuhuang Cave, known as the "No. 1 Cave in Taihang", which is more than 600 meters long from east to west and has a total area of nearly 8,000 square meters.
