About Dongshan Taoyuan Scenic Area
Dongshan Taoyuan Scenic Area is a AAA-level tourist attraction in Ninghai County, Ningbo City, located at No. 76, Dongshan Village, Huchen Township, Ninghai County. Covering an area of approximately 1.2 square kilometers, it is the largest single peach orchard in Ninghai County and is also known as Donghai Peach Orchard. In October 2016, it was awarded the title of a National 3A-level Tourist Attraction. Centered around the peach industry, the scenic area explores a full-industry-chain development model that encompasses “selling peaches—selling peach blossoms—selling ecological products.” The garden cultivates more than 20 varieties of watermelons and nectarines across three major series—early, mid-, and late-ripening—and the peak viewing period for peach blossoms is from March to April each year.
