About Ningbo Science Exploration Center
Ningbo Science Exploration Center is located in the central corridor of the eastern new city of Ningbo and the northwest block of Ningbo Cultural Square. It is a large-scale comprehensive experiential interactive science popularization venue with the theme of "exploration". It was officially opened on January 18, 2014. The Ningbo Science Exploration Center has a total construction area of about 55,000 square meters. It has six exhibition halls: Ocean, Universe, Harmonious Home, Fun of Science, Human Body and Brain, and Human Skills, including more than 420 interactive experience projects. Ningbo Science Exploration Center is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. It was awarded the title of "National Science Popularization Education Base" in April 2022 and the "2022 National Science Popularization Education Base for Earthquake Prevention and Disaster Reduction" in January 2023.
