About Phoenix Pagoda

The Phoenix Tower is a construction plan for the world's tallest twin towers to be built in Wuhan, China, which was circulated online in June 2014. It was designed by the British Chetwoods Architects for Wuhan Huayan Group. With a design height of 1,000 meters (approximately 3,280 feet), it aims to surpass the Burj Khalifa in Dubai and become the tallest building in the world. Its design is inspired by the Phoenix myth in traditional Chinese culture, and adopts a combination structure of high and low twin towers, symbolizing "phoenix" and "phoenix" respectively. It is planned to install lake water filtration, air purification, solar power generation and other systems in the tower, and introduce environmentally friendly technologies such as lightweight photovoltaic cladding, biodynamic pollution absorption layers, and thermal chimneys.
