About Nahai Building
Nahai Tower is located in the Shibi Mountain Scenic Area, Huanggang Town, Raoping County. It is located in the core area of the scenic area, with an altitude of 157 meters. It was built from April 1991 to September 1992. It is a double-story six-column observation building with a reinforced concrete structure. The name of the building means "accommodating all rivers to show your mind", and the plaque was inscribed by the famous calligrapher and painter Guan Shanyue. Covering an area of 500 square meters, the building draws heavily on traditional ancient architectural techniques. The roof has angled cornices, golden glazed green tiles, a red painted railing corridor around it, and carved beams and paintings inside. Climbing up the stairs overlooks the whole of Huanggang and the South China Sea.
