About Zhusu garden
Zhusu Garden is one of the scenic spots in Hangzhou West Lake Scenic Area. It is located to the west of Yue Tomb and was formerly known as Hushan Chunshe. The garden was built by Li Wei, the governor of Zhejiang Province in the Qing Dynasty, in the ninth year of Yongzheng (1731). The garden was named after Emperor Yongzheng's imperial letter and was one of the eighteen scenic spots of West Lake in the Qing Dynasty. The garden is dominated by bamboo landscapes, with buildings such as Liushang Pavilion, Linhua Fang, and Jujing Tower, and is surrounded by the Qixialing stream. The Jiangnan Strange Stone Garden in the garden is famous for its collection of strange stones, including the Cree Cloud Peak, one of the three famous stones in Jiangnan. Emperor Qianlong visited here and wrote poems during his southern tour.
