About Xidi Stone Forest
Xidi Stone Forest is located 12 kilometers southeast of Yixian County, Huangshan City, Anhui Province, in Fujun Village, Ye Village, Xidi Town, 3 kilometers away from the Xidi Scenic Area, a world cultural heritage site, on the main transportation road between Xidi Scenic Area and Huangshan Scenic Area, and about 1 kilometer away from Yixian East Railway Station. The stone forest covers an area of 32 hectares (480 acres) and is famous for its unique karst landform. It is a unique geological and landform natural landscape in Yixian County. It is also known as Dazhoushan Stone Forest and Cambrian Stone Forest. The Xidi Stone Forest is geologically called a karst landform. The entire mountain is composed of countless strange peaks and rocks. It is divided into three parts: the summit stone forest, the hillside stone forest and the valley bottom stone forest.
