About Red Rock Promenade
The Hongyan Cliff Beach Corridor is located in Hongyan Village, Dongchen Township, Xiangshan County, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. The scenic area covers an area of 5 square kilometers and is open from 8:00-17:00 all year round. Its sea erosion landscape was formed in the Chaochuan Formation of the Lower Cretaceous 67 million years ago. The rock mass is mainly red, mixed with colorful elements. The scenic area has a variety of beach types such as relatively rare red sand beaches, rock beaches, and gravel beaches. It is distributed with more than 30 scenic spots such as Lovers' Rock, Guanyin Wall, and Four Dragons Entering the Sea. The scenic spot is characterized by sea erosion landforms, red rock beaches and various coastal landscapes, and has functions such as sightseeing and leisure.
