About The old site of Baodashen

The former site of Baoda Canhao is located at No. 60, Dajing Lane, Hefang Street, Shangcheng District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is an Hui-style commercial building built in the early Republic of China. It covers an area of about 200 square meters. The existing buildings retain the style of commercial houses in the Republic of China. The main body of the building is composed of a Shikumen, a towering fire sealing wall and a three-bay double-layer structure. It integrates Hui-style decorative features. It is equipped with patios, horse head walls, wood carvings and brick carvings and other components inside, which has both practical functions and craftsmanship value. During the Republic of China, it mainly sold ginseng, tremella, and other tonic products. It was one of the representative shops of the early ginseng and swallow industry in Hangzhou.
