About Tianning Temple Tower
Wenfeng Pagoda is located in the northwest corner of the ancient city of Anyang City, Henan Province, with a height of 38.65 meters and a circumference of 40 meters. Because the pagoda was built in Tianning Temple, it was originally called Tianning Temple Pagoda. It is also called Wenfeng Pagoda because it is located northeast of the Confucian Temple of the old Zhangde Prefecture and serves as a symbol of the local "literary style". Wenfeng Pagoda was built in the second year of Zhou Guangshun after the Five Dynasties. It has a history of more than a thousand years and is a national key cultural relic protection unit. Wenfeng Tower has five floors and eight sides. There is a platform on the fifth level of the pagoda, a ticket door below, and small round windows around each floor. The tower sits on a brick platform two meters high.
