About Tangyue Ancient Village

Tangyue Village is a village under the jurisdiction of Zhengcun Town, She County, Huangshan City, Anhui Province, located in East China. The village is where the Bao family lives. The family can be traced back to Bao Hong, the prefect of Xin'an in the Jin Dynasty. The village was first built during the Jianyan period of the Southern Song Dynasty. There are 7 archway groups and ancestral hall buildings with the theme of loyalty, filial piety, justice and righteousness formed during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Among them, Qingyi Hall is a rare female ancestral hall in China. The archway group and ancient residences in the village are both national key cultural relics protection units. In recent years, through the "modern agriculture + rural tourism" model, modern agronomic garden projects have been built, providing more than 400 jobs.
