About Ninghai Bay
Ninghai Bay is located in Qiangjiao Town, northeast of Ninghai County, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. It is located at the end of Xiangshan Port, across the sea from Xiangshan and Fenghua. It is about 58 kilometers away from Ningbo City, with a total area of 58.28 square kilometers, of which 23.7 square kilometers is land area. It has jurisdiction over 21 administrative villages (including 12 agricultural villages and 9 fishing villages), with a total population of about 17,000. The geographical coordinate range is 29°27-29°37 north latitude and 121°31-121°37 east longitude. This area has a subtropical monsoon humid climate zone, with an average annual temperature of 16.3°C and an annual precipitation of approximately 1,250 mm. The tides in the sea area are regular semidiurnal tides, and the annual average water temperature is 18°C.
