About Jouquwan

Jiuqu Bay is the most winding section of the Uragai River. It is located to the east of Uragai Lake and connected to the entrance of Uragai Lake to the west. Red willows grow along the north bank of the river. The Uragai River where Jiuqu Bay is located is the second largest inland river in my country and the largest inland river in Inner Mongolia. It was called Ronglugu, Wuerhu, Luhe, etc. in ancient times. It originates from the western foothills of Baogada Mountain in the western foothills of the Greater Hinggan Mountains. It is formed by many springs and flows through the entire Uragai. It has a total length of 360km and a drainage area of 20,200k㎡. In 2013, the Jiuquwan grassland landscape was rated as "China's Beautiful Pastoral".
