About Temple of He Zhizhang
He Mi Jian Temple, commonly known as Huting Temple, is a memorial building in Yuehu Liuting, Haishu District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. It was built in the 14th year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1144). It was presided over by the eunuch Mo Jiang. It was originally called Yi Laotang to commemorate the allusion between Tang Dynasty poet He Zhizhang and Li Bai. It is now an important scenic spot in Yuehu Scenic Area. In 2013, Ningbo Federation of Literary and Art Circles designated it as Ningbo’s “Home of Literature and Art”. After renovation in 2023, the Ningbo Chinese Culture Promotion Association will move in. The temple was expanded and renamed Yinde Hall during the Baoqing period of the Southern Song Dynasty. After reconstruction in the first year of Kaiqing (1259) of the Southern Song Dynasty, the temple was dedicated to He Zhizhang.
