About Wuling School Former Site

The former site of Wuling School is located on the right side of Wuling Gate, Wushan Pass, Xikou Town, Fenghua District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. Wuling School was founded in the 18th year of the Republic of China (1929). The former site of Wuling School covers an area of 26,600 square meters and has a construction area of 14,000 square meters. Following the French rural education model, there are more than 40 remaining buildings such as auditoriums, education buildings, dormitories, and gymnasiums. Flowers and trees are planted throughout the campus, and gardens are set up between each building. The main building is mostly a two-story, single-eave, mountain-top style, with a brick-wood hybrid structure, wooden roof trusses, load-bearing brick walls or reinforced concrete columns, herringbone truss beam tops, and high platform foundations.
