About Sutra Building of Longxing Temple
The Sutra Building of Longxing Temple is located at No. 450 Fengqi Road, Gongshu District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It was built in the second year of Kaicheng of the Tang Dynasty (837) and completed in the fifth year of Dazhong of the Tang Dynasty (851). The residual height of the sutra building of Longxing Temple is 5.42 meters, the height of the building is 1.78 meters, and the width is 0.27 meters. The body of the building is octagonal, which is composed of a building base, a flat base stone, a building body, waist eaves, short columns, upper eaves, and a building top. Among them, the base, body and short pillars of the Xumi Zuo are from the Tang Dynasty, and the upper part is from the Qing Dynasty. The Xumi Base is now buried about 1.6 meters underground and consists of a double-layered Xumi Base. Each side of the flat stone is carved with a single hook.
