About Erlong Bridge
Erlongqiao was originally an administrative village under Ersheng Town, Banan District, Chongqing. During the administrative division adjustment in 2004, it merged with Baixiang Village to form Xingfu Village. This place name still exists in the form of an administrative village in Dongshan Town, Lezhi County, Ziyang City, Sichuan Province. Its name comes from the Shuanglong Bridge building in the territory. The standardized naming was completed in 1981 and has been continued to be used after multiple administrative division reforms. Erlong Bridge in Shiwu, Wuyi County, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province, as a cultural preservation point built in the Qing Dynasty, retains the physical characteristics of historical place names. Erlongqiao Village in Huangshan Scenic Area in Anhui Province is still marked in the map service.
