About Kong Family Mansion

Confucius Mansion, also known as Yanshenggong Mansion, is located in Qufu City, Jining City, Shandong Province, China, in Qufu City, east of the Confucius Temple. It is the mansion where the descendants of Confucius' hereditary Duke Yansheng live. It was first built in the 10th year of Hongwu (1377) and rebuilt in the 16th year of Hongzhi (1503). It once occupied an area of 240 acres. There are 463 halls, halls, buildings and rooms in Confucius Mansion.
