About City God Pavilion
Chenghuang Pavilion (also known as Wushan Tianfeng) is an antique pavilion-style building located on the top of Wushan Mountain in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It was built in 2000. The main structure is a seven-story structure (including a basement level) and is 41.6 meters high. It integrates the architectural styles of the Song, Yuan and Ming dynasties, and has both viewing and cultural display functions. The cornices on each floor present the momentum of soaring into the sky, and the flying pavilion at the top symbolizes the spread of the wings of a phoenix. The building area is 3,789 square meters. The pavilion houses the "Southern Song Dynasty Hangzhou Customs Picture" painted sculptures, portraits and stone carvings of famous sages from past dynasties, and other exhibitions.
