About Wansong College 19 37
Wansong College is located at No. 81 Wansongling Road, Shangcheng District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is a modern cultural architectural landscape rebuilt according to the Ming-style old system on the site of Wansong College in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It was first built in the 11th year of Hongzhi in the Ming Dynasty (1498). It covers an area of 57,470 square meters and has a construction area of 1,200 square meters. Wansong Academy was rebuilt on the site of Song Baoen Temple in Wansong Ridge by Zhou Mu, the right political advisor of Zhejiang during the Ming Dynasty. It was named after the meaning of Bai Juyi's sentence "Thousands of pine trees on the green hills". During the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, it was renamed Taihe Academy and Fuwen Academy successively.
