About Nantang Old Street
Ningbo Nantang Old Street was developed and constructed by Ningbo Chenglv Investment and Development Co., Ltd. It is located in Haishu District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, beside the Yongshui Bridge outside the south gate of the ancient city. It is one of the eight historical districts in Ningbo, with a total area of 49,500 square meters. It is a protected area under Ningbo City's "Purple Line Planning". This neighborhood was originally the commercial relics of the "Three Nanmen Cities" of the Southern Song Dynasty. It retains about 500 meters of traditional streets and lanes, the Yongshui Bridge, and the Yuan family building complex where the descendants of Yuan Xie lived in the Song Dynasty. Among them, the Yuan family's house is the largest in the region. The neighborhood is divided into north and south sections with Zuguanshan Road as the boundary.
