Majia Courtyard is located in Yong'an Community, Yong'an Town, Hunyuan County, Datong City, Shanxi Province. It covers an area of about 3,411 square meters and was built in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. The Ma family courtyard faces south, with three courtyards and an east-west cross-courtyard layout. The central axis of the main courtyard has a gate, a hall, a main room, and an attic, and wing rooms are built on the east and west sides. The west span courtyard has two entrances, and the east span courtyard has a backyard. The roof of the main building includes single eaves, hard gabled slabs and tiles, and the doors and windows are often decorated with six partitions.
