About Tianjing Valley
Tianjing Gorge Ground Fissure is a scenic spot located in Youyi Village, Xinglong Town, Fengjie County, Chongqing City, 70 kilometers away from the county seat. It was discovered by a British cave explorer in August 1994 and became a national AAAA-level scenic spot in 2014. The ground crack extends in a V-shape for 37 kilometers, with a width of 1-500 meters and a depth of 4-900 meters. The narrowest point is only 0.6 meters and the deepest reaches 900 meters. It is divided into a wide virgin forest valley in the upper section, a skyline canyon and water tunnel in the middle section, and an underground river system in the lower section. It is relatively rare in karst landforms and displays a variety of typical karst landforms. The ground cracks include karst landforms such as stone forests, peak forests, caves, and Tiansheng Bridge.
