Sha Menghai's former residence, also known as Ruoliu Flower House, is located at No. 82, Longyou Road, Wulin Street, Gongshu District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It was built in the 1920s and covers an area of 870 square meters, with a total construction area of 601 square meters. Sha Menghai's former residence faces south as a whole, with a length of 37.5 meters from north to south and a width of 25.14 meters from east to west. It currently consists of a main building, a gatehouse and ancillary buildings. The main building is a two-story brick and wood structure, a combination of Chinese and Western styles, with clear blue brick exterior walls and double-sided sloped roofs. The gatehouse has three bays and the auxiliary room has five bays. It is connected to the main building by a corridor.
